My Vespa has a rusty exhaust. Should I:
1. Ignore it and learn to not care.
2. Replace with OEM exhaust ($150 part)
3. Replace with aftermarket exhaust that promises HP boost.
4. Remove it, strip the rust, repaint, and re-install.
What would you do?

Straight pipe.

Build an entirely new carbon fiber Vespa with a full titanium race exhaust.

I would get rid of the Vespa.
Seriously: I would remove it and repaint, though it’s not really needed in this case.

Remove it, strip it, paint it... though that inevitably leads to removing more parts with the intent to repaint..

Depends on how much power you stand to gain from that aftermarket exhaust. If you can’t justify the price, re-paint what you got.

BBQ paint it. Or VHT header paint..

Ignore it. Replace when it starts to leak.

Personally I’d go with option 1.
